Zip Ties used for hold downs
I just did all the lines in my van, hard, and soft. I'm having a time coming up with a good tie down for the metal brake lines. I just read somewhere about using those zip ties to secure the metal lines to the body, frame. has anyone used them with success ?
any other ideas welcome thanks

I dumped the ABS system due to problems, and a crappy pedal. Ended up with much better brakes, and higher pedal. Was a little concerned if it was going to come together, or not.

Zip-ties could be used as a temporary fix, but I'd be concerned about how durable they'd be long-term. How about something like this......

I just bought a set of brakeline clips off eBay for my project and they also sell the SS screws that go with them.

The zip ties will work fine. Just make sure you pull them tight and DO not tie them to anything that will cause rubbing. If needed you can wrap a rubber piece like an innertube around the line and then zip tie it. Tim
