After Headers, then What?
After I get some headers put in, and my true dual installed, whats next. I talked you guys about boring the motor ect. What are steps I can go about doing to get some scary horsepower out of this truck. I have a guy who does a lot of this work, so tomorrow if i went to him, what are some things i could ask him to do to make this beast scream. I am talking inside the motor, but i also need to be able to have the truck reasonably available, i cant leave the motor out for weeks.
Where can I find the parts, and how much are they?
The truck is a 1995 F350 4x4 Automatic
Motor is a 1997 460 EFI.

as long as its mass air you could stroke it- you have to do all the same work to the engine to stroke it as to bore it, it just gets reassembled with different parts. also- again as long as its mass air- you could put a bigger cam in it- but not really big because its a heavy truck and you still need low end power to move it, and youd have to put a different stall torque converter in for a much bigger cam. you could put bigger injectors in it and reprogram the computer for them- a must if you stroke and/or put a much bigger cam in, and thats about it- unless you wanted to do the supercharger thing- and then that would require bigger injectors and a computer reprogram as well. as for a place to get stroker parts- survival motorsports- an fte sponsor- has pretty good prices on stroker kits, for injectors and cams id go to summitracing.com
