NEED FLAT SIX (226)
LOOKING FOR RUNNING 1951 (H) SERIES 226 CI FLAT SIX CYL ENG. OKAY IF IT NEEDS REBUILD BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT I'M BUYING ONE FOR. JUST WOULD FEEL BETTER IF KNOWN RUNNER. bill.mark@analog.com

I took the 226 out of my 51 last year and installed a 239 (v8). I tried to give the motor away but now one wanted it, so I junked it before I went to school. 
But I keeped the head if you need that and a few other parts.

NEED FLAT SIX (226)
I have a complete flathead six that I took out of my 1949 F-1. I also have the 3 speed tranny, rearend and many other parts. The engine needs a rebuild, but it ran prior to removal. I rebuilt the carb.

Well that is a long way from MA. Would cost a fortune to ship. Thanks any way I'll keep searching. Are you building a Hot Rod so you have these components? What other stuff might you have? Need the spare tire holder bracket for a 51 F-2 and sun visors.
