No start problem
Our company has a 99 F-550 with the 7.3L. We have an intermediate starting issue that is making us crazy.
The truck will run great, and sometimes when you shut it down, it will not start. We have had it in the Ford shop (a good one, btw) and an independant that is certified in PSD. The scans show no problems.
A quick shot of ether (I know...that is bad), and she will fire right up and run great until the next time it decides not to start...which might be tomorrow, or next week, or next month.
The oil pressure switch has been replaced, the glow plugs have been replaced, there was a part of the harness that was corroded and has been replaced.
Ideas?
