Gear shift lever
I have a 93 F150 5.0 ext cab
it seems that my gear shift lever has play in it.
I have looked everywhere to get a good pic to try to figure it out (what to replace)
does anyone know I'm sure it's a bushing somewhere
Just dont wanna tear it apart and not know what to expect

I assume that you have an automatic. Is it loose where the handle hooks to the tube it the column? Where the pin goes through the handle and it pivots on to pull it towards you to move from Park? Or is it loose inside the column somewhere else? Need a little more info if you would please.

there are screws that work loose. I take bottom cover off take column bolts out and tilt it down to seat take top cover off and tighten every thing I see (after all years somethings bound to be loose.). If dosen't help I will tell you now that shift tube may be worn . These have broke and you can't shift truck. Look for wear Good luck
