If you swap the 302, what kind of tranny will you have? If you have an auto 5.13s should be good. Manual you could maybe get by with 4.56s but 4.88s would probably be better.

If you run the 4.0 I'd go with 5.13s.
Not sure which one but deffiently an auto.
What is a good heavy duty auto tranny that will bolt to a 302 ? C6 ?
everything has been getting shut down, the only thing to do anymore is drive up to PA or way out to western Maryland (great scenery, but the wheelin is pretty lame).
edit: I just saw your last name is fillmore, do you know a Doug Fillmore in joppatowne?

I go up to Wharton state forest in NJ. Its less then a 2 hour drive from me. Well that was before I totalled my ranger. But I should be building a new one here soon.

Yeah that sounds good to me. Wharton is pretty mild wheeling unless you know where the mud is. I have all the deep mud marked on the GPS and photomap software to help find it.
