Dropping the motor in
Alright so I'm at the point of dropping the 7.3 into the truck. I'm wondering what all I need to put on the motor before dropping it in. I install the turbo after the motors in place but how much of the exhaust should I do before vs. after? Excuse the lack of knowledge.
Thanks

I would put the turbo ON before dropping in the engine... turbo installs are a real pain with the engine in the truck. Just be sure you BFH the firewall floor pan seam while you have the engine out so you have enough down pipe clearance. As far as the rest of it, it is up to you. I would put on as much as possible before dropping in the engine. It's just plain easier to work on while you have it out.

Good luck,
