I have been looking for an elctronic inspection camera to check out some of the more hard to reach auto nooks and crannies. At 60years of age, I'm now officially old, and I prefer to limit my contortions to the minimum amount required.
I tried a security camera -- which included leds, and it did present an image in dark corners. However, it wouldn't focus closer than 3-4 inches. That's often not suitable.
My daffy concept is to mount this thing on some sort of extension, and then to probe the various remote areas.
I have seen plumbing cameras, but they're $$$. Using a little care, I don't think that the camera needs to be that rugged. Anybody know of one that has a short focal length, and is reasonably priced?
