Overdrive Operation
I am just about finished installing the 3 speed T-85 OD that will replace the straight 3 speed in my '56/292. I have never driven an OD trans, and hope that you guys can help me out.
1) When pulling the cable to engage OD, do I need to clutch? Back off the gas?
2) Can I use the OD in first and second?
3) When I floor the gas in OD, should it disengage?
These sound like simple concepts I know- Steve
