Hey guys, Ive been really leaning towards and saving for a set of beans stage I or II injectors, havent decided which I want yet. Unfortunatly, I'm not very mechanically inclined and would probably need to have a garage install them for me. Anyone have this done before? What would I get r#p$d for this?
why dont you try to locate a fellow stroker from here to help you out? i am sure someone has got to be close by. there is some very detailed instructions out there on this and it is not hard to do. just follow em step by step and you will be fine.
well, on 97's advice, anyone from southern connecticut? would i need any special tools, or just the run of the mill sockets and wrenches? also, any thoughts stage I vs. II? would a stock fuel system be adequate for stage II"s? how about my tuner (superchips)?
Well I'm not from Connecticut so I can't help you turn a wrench, but you just need standard tools, a torque wrench and a small rocking pry bar.
Your stock fuel system will run Stage I or II's (per Beans). But to make the most HP you will need to upgrade the fuel system, possibly your HPOP system and get a custom tuned chip for which ever injectors your running (again per Beans).
I run Stage II's, because after talking to Beans, the II's will give more and faster bottom end power (in farming I pull tractors, backhoes, hay, peanuts, wheat, etc. etc.) but they do cost more.
1997F-350 runs Stage I's and is very happy with them, so its just a matter of what you want and/or need. Call Beans and tell them what your looking for and they will advise you of the best way to go, they are a bunch of great guys.

well, had to spend 220 today on new batteries, so that sets me back a bit. im leaning more and more towards stage ones, probably to be done in the spring when working outsides a little more bearable for extended periods of time. thank you for all of the insight guys.
