any issues down the rd. w/ leveling kit?

I'd rather my truck last longer rather than look good and i wanted to get an autospring 2" level kit for my f150 but would it cause premature wear on ball joints or anything? i Know anytime you go changing angles it can cause things to wear faster but i'm not sure if the spacers are drastic enough to do that. what do you guys think?

Look at it this way, worst case is it wears out the ball joints faster and it costs you a few hundred to replace, it's not the end of the world. It's not like it destroys the truck. My guess is a few hundred somewhere down the road won't break you or you wouldn't be driving a ~$30K truck.

I will increase wear on the front axles. I don't see how it won't compared to stock. My 07 looks pretty dern level. I may go with a 2 1/2 in front and a add a leaf to the rear to get an inexpensive small lift.. but I know it will cause some geometry problems in the front axles. Time will tell how long they will last. A lot will depend on how much you use the 4X4 system I bet

yeah , my idea was the same as your chris. i wanted to go with the 2 inch front kit and a 1.5 " add a leaf in the rear. but i might just keep it the way it is and use my money towards a more helpful mod. decisions decisions...

I put a autospring 2" leveling kit on my dad's truck about 10K miles ago, and everything has been good. I don't see anything that should cause a problem either.

They have a 1.5" leveling kit too I believe... just helps the pitch a bit... I doubt you could fit larger tires, however...with the form over function ideology, bigger tires cause more wear/tear. All up to the end user. I have left my 4x4 alone... I have lifted several trucks, jeeps etc. Only ones that it really seems to not effect are Jeeps and pre-computer controlled vehicles....however, everything I have lifted I naturally put bigger tires on. Big tires rob power and have caused me issues with the TPS in other vehicles.
