I was wondering if anyone could tell me where to find some places to go 4X4ing in North Georgia. I found some club's on the niet but none seem to be valid.
well there are several places but the best is in millegdville which is south. its called RiverRock ORV. however you have Beasleys ****, Chattahoochee National Forest, Oconee National Forest, and a few other small not well known areas. however i think you woul dhave much more fun at a park like grayrock in Mt Olive, Alabama, Tellico in Murphy, NC, Morris Mountain in Anniston, Alabama, or RiverRock down in Milledgeville.
come to the February Frenzy at grayRock Feb 2-4, its an open weekend... $50 for the whole weekend (friday afternoon to sunday evening). there are some serious rock buggys and a lot of fun if you just wanna go in and watch! in fact i think
Can I get some directions to Rock Olive? I know how to get to the town but I dont know where to ride at. How much does it cost? And is it mud or rocks? Is it trails or what? Can I go there tomorrow? I live in Douglasville so it's not too far of a drive.
no you cant just go and ride thats their biggest downfall. its a private park and they what they want, however they have some very gnarly, wicked trails! i cant freaking WAIT to try out Cable Hill
where is that located cutts? (city/state so i can mapquest it?) Probably way too long of a drive for me, but looks like fun.
edit: nevermind. i should learn to read
but it does give me 9 different counties to chose from...
lol come on down man! we'll save you a camp spot! yea its a small drive for ya but well worth it. it is a great place to go, trails, rocks, and mud! i think the only thing i dont like about it is all the ghetto rednecks that come in and 'cruise' the camping area sat afternoon and sunday in their Z71's and explorers with bumping music and 3" bodylifts. they dont know it but they get made fun of more than they know, lol
come on the the feb frenxy....you will be amazed even just watching all the immaculate rigs running the wet, slick muddy and rocky trails such as loose rock and cable jhill
its in PA about 2.5 hrs north of me, only been once and blew out the rear end on the bronco after being there for an hour, but it was fun while it lasted..
We didn't go off the green trails because my buddy was in a stock explorer, but we walked one of the red/black trails and it was crazy looking, huge rocks and stuff. There's one part where you have to keep both wheels on these rocks and there's a huge drop in the middle.
I haven't been up to paragon yet, it's hard to find people that actually wheel around here, everyone's afraid they'll break something
