hi i'm a new user and am very inpressed with the amount of info. here's my problem. i need a power booster for a 65 250 4x4 and cant find one anywhere, does anyone know of any other year, make, model that will work? i have all drums. thanks for any info.
Hello hoyler 1969, Welcome to FTE & the 61-66 FoMoCo Truck F Series Forum page As John says the Nations Ford Truck Information truck stop.
Why don't you have your present booster rebuilt if it's gone bad ?
Or are you [ shudder to think] toying with trying to add a booster to 65 F-250 that didn't come with one ? If this 2nd option is the case, then I'm outta here. . . . .
But Welcome here anyway.

Whew. . . . well Okay, Glad to hear it's for R&R of an existing unit. Barry, a member here it in CT he might chime in here as or with a source. Let me cogitate om this a bit and maybe I can help you.
I used to know a guy in Biddeford who would rebuild or locate them, and another guy not too far from Penobscott. Both are Blue Oval men with a passion for Slicks et al.
Meanwhile take a gander in Hemmings Motor News, under the Ford Specific parts & services heading for references, Also maybe somebody from your area will chime in here. . . .
thanks for the info, i guess i can have napa send it out to cardone, (105 plus shipping) but nobody can tell me how long that will take.i'm also thinking that i want to upgrade my front axle to a 78-79 open nuckle/disk brake set up, and need to know if that booster will be sufficiant.
Not really as PDB/DB set up req's 2 chamber Mcyl, proportioning Valve & split lines (2 front + 1 rear = 3) to really work correctly & safely. . . .IMHO & FoMoCos' opinion too, might I add.
I believe boosters form 73 thru 79 are what the Disc Brake systems req. But the PDB Booster is a non interchange with the all drum brake set up. . .
