Hi everyone, I just found a barn full of slicks and the guy is parting them out! His name is Jeremy and his phone No. is 206-290-8418 . I got a very nice rad sup and he had lots more, check out my photos. He has 50 trucks in the state of WA. One quick question where duz the jack go? I heard under the hood. Thanks
WWhhhuuuhhhhhhhhh!!!! I might have to call this fella... Very Nice slick you have by the way.. that gallery could use some more shots of that beauty...
Hey guys I have had some dealing and long conversations woth Jeromy and he is a great guy and appears ro be a real straight shooter. I am sure for those of us in the NW he will be as great asset.
He's got 3 step sides that I saw and they look good to. I got some parts and plan to go back for more. I feel beter knowing he's there. Call the guy he will ship.206-290-8418
So does he have anyway to take pictures of what he has? I am sure if he were to post them on the classifieds they would be gone relatively quick. I just wish I lived close enough to pick up a 6 foot style side bed. My floor is so bad I have decided to cover it with thompson treated 1" plywood. Looks better then it did I will tell you that.
He's got some style side short beds. My buddy has put in an order for one already. Thanks Redmanbob I will put up some more photos of my ride soon. I had the seat done and plan to paint it in the spring. Keeping it as pure as I can, no power and drums all the way around. Parking is a drag but I'm preserving history and the next guy who owns her will know what it was like in 1966.
LOL... yep me too, but it's a funds thing I got a truck with discs already LOL..so it's a dodge.. yeah well it aint a chebby.. Actually I do plan to do the disc swap when $$ is in hand.. towing a boat through these mountain passes is just insane with drums. If it was a stick it wouldnt bother me so much.

I know its a safety issue and who's gona know if its got disc, but I was looking for a year for an unmolested truck so I figure I keep it as original as I can. Hey where duz the jack go and what's it look like? Thanks

You're gonna know it has disc brakes, because of the insreased stopping power. Semi trucks and trains are the only things that still use drum brakes AFAIK, just because they haven't been able to make the same friction surface and are air assisted.
The only way that you can tell my 66 has discs on the front is to see them through the spoke wheels.

Dennis Carpenter sells wood kits for stepsides. They are made from oak, and come with hardware. They are unfinished (will need stain/ varnish/polyurethane)...but when that is done...in they go without any trimming. Carpenter also sells the metal rails.
