Voltage Gauge

Today I bought and added a voltage gauge. I took pics of the install and did a small write up on my website.

I am happy to report the truck idles at 14 volts.

Where did you get your positive power from? I am about to install gauges and was thinking of going to out put of alternator... Just don't know which wire.

Any keyed power source would be good for a volt meter. If you go directly to the battery or the alternator output the guage will be hot all the time, and will drain your battery over time.

I got mine at the radio. Easy to find as I had already installed an aftermarket radio.
