Hooker Header fitment problems-PLEASE HELP
Has anyone installed full length headers on their 351M. I am in the middle of installing these headers.

On the passenger side, in order to match the header up , it looks like I'm going to have to dent in or modify the firewall/ floor pan. Also the driver side collector ends up directly under the transmission pan, and im wondering if this could cause some overheating of my auto trans. I was wondering if maybe they sent me the wrong headers or are these things typical of this installation. PLEASE HELP ASAP, as my truck is in pieces until I figure out what to do. If someone has pictures of their install done that would be great. Thanks

Did you click the checkmark link to view all the truck info this set fits.
It has a yes & No section on application.
I would be more worried about Going thru starters as the headers will end up right beside the starter and ruin them with a heat shield.

You should not have to modify your truck that much to get the headers to fit. I did notice a couple different applications. One set for 4x4 and 4x2, also different for tranny application manual or automatic. I'm figuring you have the wrong application.
