Rough Idle
My 2001 supercrew with a 5.4 started spitting and sputtering while idling this morning, then went dead, and would not start back up, finally started after numerous tries and blew out a ton of black smoke. i wonder if a fuel injector could be sticking, seems like a fuel problem, has no codes on an obd II scanner and check engine light isn't on.

if she's not tossing any codes (yet?) I'd throw some FI cleaner in the tank (2 bottles if you have a full tank...SeaFoam costs more, but's worth it), can't hurt, do the "no kidding" stuff like, check oil, change if necessary, etc.
