I have always been told anything much over 30 to 35 is pushing the limits, is this accurate? The reason I ask is that I installed a juice with attitude package last weekend on an 05 Cummins and on level 3 it hit 40 pounds of boost no problem. I have never seen much more than 20 with mine. What do you guys think? Think the Dudge is gonna blow up?
Stock you will be lucky to see much over 20. The PCM defuels at 24psi, much over that anyway and all you are pushing is hot air the turbo gets very ineficient
I rarely saw 20 in stock, but with the DP chip easily saw 30 on a few occations at WOT and actually threw a few codes and turned on the SES light! The stock HPOP can't keep up at that point. I don't know anything about the cummins though.
What mods have you done to yours, or is it stock?
ive seen 26 tops.
hey CRACK, did you adjust your waste gate after your ATS housing was intalled, also, where is you boost being read from. just trying to help

4'' exhaust, 80hp Predator (yuck), Dp on the way, 6637 filter, WW, valve body in tranny, zoo-dad mod, absolutely no boost leaks to speak of. Gauges, of course. Probably forgetting some stuff but you get the idea.
I was just so shocked to see 40 psi in the cummins. It has 5 '' exhaust and a bully dog intake, that's it. Turbo sure screams loud in that thing.
humm, not to sure about the electronic map boost reading, it may only let you see 20, if it were machanical, like a boost T, you could see a little more than 20.
i saw 21 stock with a MAP T.
when my truck was stock I only saw about 18 to 20 psi when I was climbing hills with my trailer and doing about 70-75 mph with the wastegate disconnected.
