??? My truck, pre-DP Tuner, hit 25 psi anytime I hauled *** up this one hill on the way home. 6637, boost tube, open exhaust (not even a tail pipe), MAP fooler, boost plugged into IAH
Dunno since I put the DP-Tuner in last week though. Every time I step on it, panties and bras start flying off any girls within a mile and usually one of them lands on the gauges and covers them up...
pre-dp tuner with boost tube and map fooler, boost read at AIH, the boost tube was doing what it was intended to, soooo, i wonder what boost read is if you remove the underwear flying around your cab. i have yet been able to really get on it since my dp install, we have had over 60 inches of snow in the past few months. i cant wait till summer time

Is that when Paris and Brittany were making out on the hood?
I havnt been able to WOT my truck since I put my Banks exhaust and power elbow on. There is way to much ice on the road. Before the exhaust I was only seeing 17 on the new boost guage. I am thinking about getting a DP Tuner before spring. Hopefully then some panties will fly in Alaska.
You can not compare a CR dodge to a 7.3... Too many years apart in development... Sad but true, you stack two programs on a CR dodge and he is well over 500hp and 40# boost...
But remember boost does not make power... only heat....
I totally understand, I was just curious if that sounded right or was a problem to be had. My experience is limited to Strokes only so i was not to sure about 40#'s of boost on the cummins. I would love thatmotor, but you can have the truck itself.
I can't remember what my stock turbo ran for boost, because it's been so long since I had one on there. I do remember that I was easily able to hit 34 psi though, which prompted the upgrade to a van turbo. Now, I see about 27 psi.
As far as the Dodge, a buddy of mine has a CR that we've done some work to. Intake, exhaust, HTT turbo, intercooler, and a TST box. He easily hits over 40 psi of boost. The CR motors just make more boost than our trucks do. Sadly, they also make more power - with his few mods, compared to what I've done to my truck, I think his is faster already.
My buddy also has a cr, all it has is a tst box, exhuast, and intake. It also hits over 40 psi easily. He makes fun of me because mine can't make the boost. Then i remind him his truck is a dodge and that the only good part of his truck is the motor.
I wont go into this to much, but I think he is on his 2nd fuse box, massive wiring replacements, and dash lights going out every few months. Dealer says that they dont know and will keep throwing parts at it. Tranny is headed south real quick with the edge juice set on 2 or higher, massive slippage. I'm with you yellermax.
