I had to go to the local Chev dealer today after parts, I was involved in a conversation with some tech buds about common problems with "enhancements". They pointed to a new duramax that was totally cooked. Of course, the customer denied any modifications. They informed me of their "fingerprinting" methods, and said that his warranty was done. Then I realized that this was a former customer that got less than satisfactory (in his opinion) results from his ford warranty. There was something about his controller involved in his leaving our ford family "I'm going to buy a real truck, one thats tougher than these things". Can you believe that bad luck will follow someone like that?
"Learning" that lesson once has got to sting the wallet, at a minimum. I don't even know want to know how that felt, but going through it twice?!? Ouch!!
Poor unnfortunate soul. Maybe his right foot is made of lead and he can't lift it. More likely his brain is made of hay and he can't understand why he shouldn't abuse his stuff.
