Something to think about, that's three of us that have said that they have "snagged" (I like that wildcard) the gas pedal... and I wasn't even wearing boots.

Hasn't happened to me since on the `04, or my new `07.

I have never had an issue with any of the other cars I've driven in my 23 years of driving. Don't know why it's such a problem in these trucks for me, but it is.

I agree with him... I have caught myself doing the same thing with my boots on... The harder I pushed the brake the more my truck wanted to GO! It didn't take long for me to figure out the my boot was catching the edge of the pedal...

This is a common problem when driving heal toe on some vehicles, rather than lift the foot.

Thanks for all the posts and sorry for the delay in responding... I picked up a nasty cold and have finally started to shake it.

Well here goes, the dealership could not find a problem and did log it on my paperwork that they did an extensive search. Since I have my truck back I have not had the problem but haven't driven it much either. I always wear a pair of sneakers and my shoe size is 11 but, I have never pressed both pedals before. With that said, I have taken the comments to heart and I'm making an effort to move my foot more left when braking. At a stop sign, with no one in front of me, I pressed both gas and brake pedals at the same time with one foot. The sensation was similar to what I remember when I wasn't doing it intentionally. So, though I'm not sure, that may have been it. Why after 8 months of driving would it happen twice in one week??

I have been in other vehicles this week and have made an effort to look at their pedals. The 150's gas and brake pedals do seem to be a little closer together and about the same distance from the floor. In the other vehicles, the gap was only fractionally wider but, the brake pedal seemed to be closer to the driver / higher from the floor. Again, not by much but the minimal difference might be just enough to not allow a double pedal press at the same time.

Again thanks to all and if I do find out what happen or is wrong, I will post a notice... even if it means I've become pedal challenged ).

Cool Dew.

My "pedally challenged" feet didn't show up this problem until a few months after I bought my `04 either. Go figure...
