I need a stock ford two barrel carb for my race car. I heard that ford had a 700 cfm? two barrel that they put on a 428. Is this true. If so, does anybody have a part # or a way to get one? If not what is the biggest two barrel Cfm wise out there? Im running a 302 with 351-m cleveland heads if anybody is interested in what I'm putting it on.
I've seen some of the highly modified Holley 2 barrels flow 760.... But if it has to be a stock Ford (Autolite?) carb, then I really have no idea.... I've never seen a 2 barrel intake for a Cobra Jet, far as I know they all came with 4 barrels....

Biggest Ford/Autolite 2bbl carb was a 424cfm unit, identified by the number "1.33" cast on the side of the float bowl. A "1.23" indicates a 356cfm, "1.21" is a 351cfm...for what it's worth. There were other smaller sizes as well.
We used to run a Holley 600cfm 2bbl on my buddy's 351W Street/SuperStreet Stock. Found it on an old F600 grain truck.
