Ok i got this Ex about a month ago now and i have alwas wanted one. Got a good deal on it but it almost reminds me of my old bronco i had. So far i have redone all the exhaust bolts, both front leaf springs, tie rod, new warn hubs, changed to bilsteins in the front, put on the flowmaster, threw in the K&N, but that was donated from the F150, and now i am playing the game with the COP's. Notto mention the regular new/old truck stuff, oil, filters, plugs ect. ect. Damn i love this thing. Just i keep finding more stuff to doand or fix, doorlocks, radius rods, lift, tires, rims.......
It ends when either the truck or you are in a grave. Not before.
Cars, motorcycles, boats, guns, tools, airplanes, models, etc. No matter what the toy is, we are never finished or satisfied.
No wonder the women roll their eyes in frustration. They just don't see that their hobbies (toys) are the same way. They justify them differently.
For my wife, it's the house decor. It always is in flux. She thinks I'm crazy to put in a air system in my truck, but a $6000 entertaiment cabinet for the FAMILY room is perfect!! (It is nice, though. But I'm still waiting to see if the wolf type critter will chew on it)
housedad - you're right... I can spend 2 days re-routing the plumbing and electrical so we can relocate the washer/dryer; but I can't take a couple of hours to do anything to the Ex without hearing about it.
