yes it is possable. i have an 89 f-150 and got away with using the stock distrubitor eventhough everyone said i wouldent be able to. i hav an offy. c series intake workes great...other than blowen rings. got more power it felt like. also long tube headers would work great power wise. pulled a 7000 lb sled at the truck pulls this year 158.5 ft with the offy intake with a holley 750 cfm ( carb was a little big) 3.55 gears and 32 inch bfg's also thoes headers which are headmans
