460 True Dual?

ive seen some ford pickups with them and they dont look the best
if i was u i would go out the back, straight, slightly bent or 90 degrees, i would do the straight out the back, with slashed cut tips, or have them slightly bent, i thin theyh are bent 45 degrees im not sure, then add some pencil tips with the rolled edge, that would look pretty sweet to. ive attached a simple drawing, just to help u out. The pic is with the exhaust out the back.

I have a slightly different idea. I took my 77 with a 460 into get a dual eghaust put on it. The shop here has been doing my families vehicles for years he stays up with the technology and everything that is going on. We ended up staying with the stock manifolds having them flowed and cleaned up for better flow. duals to the flowmaster and then single out. the dual to single flows better than a true dual system.

Depends on the design. Usually neither one is better than the other.

I am just very excited to finally see this thing destroy the streets, I know once this is in noone will be louder and meaner than this beast around town. Friggen Hedman Long Tube headers going into seperate 3 inch duals with two 3 inch cats and 40 series Flowmaster Muffflersm X pipe, right out the back under the bumper with nice chrome tips that will look shiny all the time and just hit the gas and scare away any competition, Man I love exhaust!

I have done 2 460 dual exhaust setups on 2 trucks. Both used Heddman Elite hedders and 2 1/2" duals.

One used an H pipe and 40 series Flows. Not very loud at at all. Resonated though. Big pipes and Large H pipes actually quiten things down.

Next, Hooker Aerochambers with 2 1/2 inch duals BOTH exiting out in front of the PASSENGER rear tire! THIS IS THE BEST SOUNDING EXHAUST YET! Not as bad as Flow for Resonance, but the tone and exhaust note are AWESOME! Sound better than my 01 GT with flows! I have so many compliments on the sound. It has a rumble sound to it that Flows do not!

Hooker Aerochambers outflow Flow Masters in 2 1/2 inch pipe by a lot!

What are the aerochambers? Are they long tubed? THat sounds sweet, but how does that look with the pipes getting dumped infront of the passenger tire? I was thinking of doing that to. Both of them? How did it look?
