Thats weird-got the reply notification email just fine. My hotmail will take some pretty huge files so I can't imagine it not working. I am hitting the hay pretty soon anyways so I will mess with it some more tomorrow. HUGE thanks to you and the other guys for all the help!!
Well I swapped all the relays and diodes with no luck. Also, under the hood there are two axillary boxes with two relays each that weren't in my owners manual. I swapped those around too with no luck.
It just seems like there isn't any fuel getting in the cylinders-are there any other relays that would affect this?
Yeah, in the trouble shooting guide it said that if code 1298 was present then the IDM is toast, but I am just getting the one code.
I have noticed that when I disconect the red/yellow tracer wire that I tapped in to that everything functions the same.
The last time I started it I still had the panels under the dash off-after I started it the last time I push all the wires up under the dash (I have a ton from my navigation system) and then it popped the #19 fuse and this other problem arose. I keep looking under there but nothing looks out of place or disturbed, and I was pretty careful when pushing all the wires up there.
This REALLY sucks that the dealer is closed tomorrow lol!
Can't see it from under the hood I don't think.
It needs to come out underneath the driver's side fender. Unbolt the plastic wheel well piece and pry it down, then you should be able to see the IDM.
