Quick kwik mod ?
I went to napa today and picked the 6637 filter that they ordered for me and when I got home went to install and have a few questions. First I thought that only the top section of the air box needed to be removed, But the hood will not close iwth the 6637 on top of the stock air box. I thought that it still kinda used the stock fresh air intake to take cooler air in. And the second one is if I take the bottom half out of the truck there is some kind of sensor in the side of it. I think it is for the ambiant air temp right? How should I relocate it? Thanks again, Dale

I had to take out the whole airbox to get my 6637 to fit right and get the hood closed without squishing the filter.
The sensor should come out of the airbox with a 1/4 turn - I just zip-tied mine up under the brake master cylinder
