6637 mod ??
I just done the mod and love the way it sounds. My question is I know that it flows more air than stock but is the intake tube supposed to be hot? I never checked it when it was stock. Seems to me its taking in hot air. Thanks

The intake tube is warm because of the engine heat radiating in the engine bay. It hasn't changed you probably just never noticed it before.

I turn onto my street and go 100 yards.. Pull into my driveway.. 1 minute or less the egt dropped to 350. Stock filter.
Now with the big filter in the bay it takes a couple three minutes to cool off. Engine bay heat getting sucked in.
That is the only thing i noticed.. A little longer to cool off before i turn off the key off. If your moving and pulling in cold air it cools quicker. The stock way was pulling in cooler air, always. So now i get up to speed quicker and coast the last 50 yards before i pull in my driveway. And got it back to a 1 minute to cool off.
Your ok.. Mine has been on for some time.. I love mine also. I Like the way it looks and runs and have no issues with it. Even pulling my 5th wheel.
