56' Carb Help

My 1956 Ford F100 has a 223 engine in it with a single barrell carb. The shop and parts manuals doesn't show a spark control valve or as I call it a power valve on it like mine has on it. I can buy carb rebuild kits all day long but they don't have the power valves with them and I can't find a power valve for it. Need help locating a kit that is complete or some advise on the best way to go carb wise. This problem is the only thing standing in my way of driving my truck on a regular basis.

56' Carb Help

I got a rebuild kit for my 64 4x4 F250 with a Holley one barrel. It looks like the 56 item but has a power valve in the kit. Try one of these.

When I rebuilt my holley 1bbl I was told to use my old spark control valve.My rebiuld kit did come with a spark control valve gasket but not the valve.I drove my truck all last summer with out any carb problems. There were two different types of 1bbl carbs. The conventional which came with the spark contol valve and the economy which did not.Hope this helps.
