Getting power to amp through firewall?

got new stero setup and have a amp that i dont know how to power because i dont know how to get wire through the firewall from the battery to the amp? any suggestions or any other place i can run the wire from the battery to the amp instead of going through the firewall???

i ran mine through a large rubber grommet on the drivers side fire wall.

hmm i read your post and was looking for it but couldnt really find it do you have any pictures of it becuase i'd really appreciate it i almost thought about just going through the door but i dunno i think that bother me too much...

Engine Noise

FYI: However you run the power, make sure you also run a separate wire for the ground. Keep the wires together. If you don't you'll increase the likelyhood of engine noise problems.

I have a picture of that grommet's location in my gallery under bullbar wiring. I could also snap more pics of it if you need them.

SWEET! thats exactly what I needed thankyou thankyou thankyou that will make the install a lot easier i was about to run through the door and then up under the dash but that definatley works better!!!!!!
