Talking EDGE Pod removal and re-install for trips to the dealer

I'm wondering is there anyone out there that removes and re-installs the Edge programmer and the pod after they take it to the dealer? I would really like to try this programmer! but I would need to remove it everytime I take her in for service. Even Edge say's the programmer is for off-raod use only in California! (I really hate this state!) So any experiences?? I'd sure appreciate it! Thanks!

Well you can mount it two ways... one with the double sided adhesive bond, and the other with double sided velcro. The velcro would certainly be the best choice for removal.

Rich,

Thanks for the quick response, I'm curious..I looked at your gallery and it say's "To come; Superchips". Do you feel the flashpaq is a better programmer? why the Superchips? I really value your opinion..nice truck BTW!

Well it says that.... because I havent updated my gallery since I got the truck. Thanks for the kinds words. I had a Superchips Micromax tuner on the 04 I traded for my 06 (and had planned on reusing it). I currently have an Edge tuner, and I love it. I can't see myself going back to the Superchips again. When the 06 arrived, I could get the edge for ~340 or so, or the Superchips equivalent for $500. No brainer for me!
