[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 26-Apr-01 AT 01:17 AM (EST)[/font][p]Mike Chesser in Georgia has just released a metal big back window kit that gives all new correct guage metal that is welded in place of the small back window (after cutting out the appropriate sheet metal). The kit presently sells for $495 for the sheet metal and $350 for the window and rubber seal (no chrome trim included). He'll be at PF (Supernationals) demoing the package.

After several discussions with Mike, I ordered a kit yesterday and I'll post pictures of the kit and my progress on my website.

This kit should save having to combine two cabs into one to obtain the big back window.

The price for the glass seems a little high, compared to
Mid Fifty F-100 Parts, unless it is "Smoke" color. Their
price for tint is $195 and clear is $185.

Is mid 50's version tempered glass or acrylic? The Chesser version is tempered glass and comes with the rubber seal.
