Crummy Side Mirrors F-100.....1956

Does anyone have a fix for the mirrors that continually need adjusting (because the wind moves them). Seems like the "ball is loose in the socket" on the mirror. Any suggestions. Phil

Phil, dont laugh, if your morrors are old, try loctite in the socket. It may hold your adjustment, and if you need to re-adjust add more loctite. If the mirrors are that bad, then it's time to replace. cant hurt...my 2.5 cents.
