I did the Ryan mod for mirror turn signals and his observations are correct.
It is a great look from the front and I think better visibility than the stock mirror.
My son drives my mule more than me so I always try to maximize safety items for his driving inexperience.

Yes, the mirrors you want are available. The ones I've seen run around $99-$110 each.

As far as the heated thing goes, you could just buy some RainX NOFOG/DEICER, 2.99 a gallon at local parts house. It works great on my mirrors and windsheild. Then again, the four of us Alabama boys live far enough south that really we only have frost a few times a year....

How often do you apply to keep it in "working order"? I've never used any of the RainX products before.

Hey Pete,

I just keep the deicer/no fog in my windsheild washer resevior(SP) instead of the blue stuff. It also has the Rain X product in it so when you wash your windsheild you put a new coat of rain x on at the same time. I hardly ever have to turn on my wipers unless it is a shure enuff frog choker.

as far as the no fog on the mirrors a coating usually lasts about 4 to 6 weeks, wich is about how long I go between thourough cleanups on the truck.

What part of Bham are you in, I was born and raised in Mountain Brook/Cahaba Heights area. My Mom and Dad still live in Cahaba Heights(or should I say Vestavia now)

Thanks for the details. Sounds like a very nice solution to the heated option, even though I would still love to ideally have that as well.

you should just really get what you want or you may never be happy. I just waited and waited and that is why I was able to score my mirrors at such a stupidly cheap price.
