I don't have much experience with line x but the rhinos I love, it provides good protection and also keeps cargo from sliding.8' bed costs about $395.00
I still have a drop-in liner, but it's my understanding that if you get a Line-X and it gets damaged, any Line-X dealer will repair it for free. If you get a Rhino and it gets damaged, only the dealer who installed it will repair it (for free). So, if your Rhino shop goes out of business, you will have to pay another Rhino shop for the repair.
Here's my vote for the Linex. I'm on my second truck with one and they are living up to everything I had heard about them. Also, if there is any problem with it any Linex dealer is supposed to fix it for free.
The liner was included when I purchased my new truck, but the dealer dealt with a Rhino guy. I told him that I wanted a Linex instead and he actually set himself up with a new vendor close to my house and had him do it for me.
Can't complain with that, and I really like the Linex.
I have Line-X and no complaints. It has handled quite a good bit of abuse from hauling several tons of gravel, sand and stone (over many hauls) and shows no wear from the loading or removal from the bed. The local dealer in my town was friendly and easy to work with. Quite a few utility trucks and other industrial jobs were in his lot the day I took my truck in. I would suspect that such fleet customers would speak well for the product.
An uncle who uses his for farm duty also has Line-X and did manage to damage it when having a palated load set in the bed with a fork lift. One of the forklift blades took a chunk of the lining off by accident from a wheel well. He took it back to the dealer and they repaired it with no hassle.
Between those two I recommend LineX. If you want something better then the two go with Armorthane, which is far superior in all aspects. Yes gain also get it in different colors.
I have a Line-x bed liner in my 03 F250 6.0 Crewcab, it looks so much better than the Rhino in Bortherinlaws 04 F350 6.0 Crewcab. His looks like ther is a film on it now, mine has a couple of cuts but looks almost like it did 90K ago. In another life I sold Rhino Industrail liners.
Both are just as good as the person appling the lining.
