Is there a way to till if your master cylinder or booster is faling. What I trying to say is how do know which it is?
I have a 77 F250 and the brake peddle while at a stop light will slowly go down with light pressure,But with hard pressure it will stay good.
I was ready to replace the booster. Then I read a post saying if there is no fluid leak and you lose peddle pressure it's the master cylinder.
You guys haven't steered me wrong yet,Just need a second appion.
Hope you understand what my question is. THANKS
Don
it is your master cylinder , i know because the same thing happend to me and thats what it was. make sure you bench bleed the cylinder very good or it will go out before you know it, !!thats not fun!!
