First I have to ask what year is your truck? If it is a 01 or newer I would stay away from the pain... YOu have PMR's- Powdered Metal Rods. They were installed in the 7.3 from 01 on. They dont like the CP's (cylinder pressures) that ProPAIN causes and will walk off the job, leaving you with a rather large hole in your block.

OK, If you can and want to return the Snows Water injection. Nothing wrong with there kits, I am running there stage 2. But there stage 3 is a joke, looks like crap and is way over priced! Go to www.coolingmist.com and look at there stage 3 kit for diesels. It comes with a PDA similar to the Banks system in the 6.0. Very nice unit!!!

You need to install the pyro PRE turbo, there is no "limit" on a post turbo pyro. If you install it there you are wasting a gauge... It will vary from as little as 0 to as much as 300 degrees. Its really easy to drill the manifold and tap it, or drill and clamp on the up pipes. Pre turbo max is 1250 for any extended time. You can top 1500 for a few seconds passing or on the strip but not for more then 15-20 seconds.

As far as the turbo mods... How far do you want to go? I started with a WW (wicked wheel) and then added an ATS housing... then a Turbomaster wastegate control... guess what? I still upgraded to a new turbo... Just plan ahead and buy accordantly.

You didnt have a intake listed... I would recomend the AFE stage 2... Best out there by FAR...

If you need any help feel free to Pm me... I have installed 20-30 gauge sets, 10+ turbos, injectors... What ever you might need.

i have a late 99 thank god... i havent even taken the snow boost cooler out of the box yet but that is dissapointing to hear that it is a peice, i paid liek 700 for that thing! i will see if i can return it.

thanks for your suggestion on the pyro

as far as the turbo , i am prob just going to replace the whole unit so i am not goign to put any more money into that for right now, i think the wastegate and turbine wheel were like 400 so i am goign to do that for now and upgrade the turbo after a while.

thank you very much for your help and sugggestions!

Turbine wheel? Or intake compressor wheel? The compressor wheel can be found as cheap as $60 and they are all the same. The wastegate actuator can be remedied for free by removing it and tightening the turnbuckle, efectively shortening it and adding spring seat pressure. How much did you pay for those? Return the water injection and spend that $700 on a $400 1.15 exhaust housing, and a $400 intake compressor shroud, and return that compressor wheel for however much you paid. That turbo then should be enough to suit any mod to a truck with stock injectors, and even support stage 2 injectors.

I just dont like the controler on the stage 3... It looks like something out of a WW2 Air plane...

Get the 8 gal res if you do install it. I can run about 300 miles with the water on full time and 8 gal. Over 800 if I just turn it on in the hills.

I think the Cooling mist will work better then the snows. With a digital processer and a more precice looking piece. I a going to change out my injectors for theres in the next few weeks. There's are cheaper and can flow more water with better atomization.

I would go with DP also...as a matter of fact I did. Before I had my '02, I ordered a TS then before I even opened the package, bought the '02. I sent the chip back unopened per their return policy, and they clipped my refund for over $100.00 for a restocking fee. They did not care that it was in the original box unopened. They would not give me a full refund. I even tried to offer them a reasonable restocking fee, but they stood hard behind I believe it was a 30% fee. I guess they want to teach paying customers a lesson. I DID learn a lesson.....don't deal with TS Performance. Go with DP....Jody is a GREAT GUY! The only regret I have is that my chip blank is not an F5, but in fact a TS.......thats just the way it goes I guess. I am sure many people are happy with TS, but I feel I was not treated fairly and guess I have a bad attitude because of this......besides Jody's tunes are MUCH better.
