Does anyone know of a supplyer for the bushing or it may be called an insert at the rear of the head for the temperature sender ? I need to put one in the right head for an electric fan switch. Tom

Stockcarnut:

I can get all three of those adapters for you.
B7A 10911 A YOUR PRICE $13.28
C3AZ 10911 A YOUR PRICE $10.13
C3TZ 10911 A YOUR PRICE $15.41
SHIPPING WOULD BE $9.95

Either that or you can call me @ 1-800-532-0819 and I can give you the phone number of the dealership that has the parts in stock.

I found a guy selling them for $7.00 each on e-bay. bought a box of 5 the part number on the box is B4A-10911-A matches the one in my 55 truck. I checked on tee-bird.com they show it for 55-57 t-bird and it's 3/8 pipe thread.
the 10911-b is a 1/4 pipe thread. I have had better luck searching for 1957 thunderbird parts for small engine and ford-o-matic parts.

Sorry guys, I was out of pocket cause the 'puter went down. I also discovered that the sender I need to use is 1/2" pipe!!! So, I guess I am back at square one because there are no water ports that size on my engine. To drill and tap a bushing it wouid be super thin so I'm stumped for the time being. Thanks for all the help though. Tom

3/8" electric fan switches are available from Speedway Motors if you are still interested.
