Thanks for the info subford. First thing I will check is the ground(s), I 'm assuming they
should be somewhere near to or on the tanks or close on the frame? On the(your) schematic it says "Left Fender" did they run the ground(s) wire back up to the front? By the way nice job on the schematic if that's yours! And thanks for posting it!

No the ground will not be near the tanks and the frame is not a good ground.

Yes they ran the ground all the way back to the LH fender.

I have no idea what schematic you are looking at as I have posted many schematics and I did draw a lot of them but do not know if I drew the one you are looking at.
