Unhappy Need Help!!!!!

my son was changing oil and filter on 1998 exped. 4" threaded pipe came off with oil filter attached to it. Assume this pipe goes though oilcooler adapter.
Can it all just be put back up and pipe rescrewed to engine block????

Yes just screw it back in and snug it tight, crank and check for leaks

Need help reply

Thank you for the info. If this happens to someone else, look inside the threaded pipe, mine had a hexagon shape about one inch inside. I insterted a bolt that fit it, put several nuts on the bolt and attached another bolt to the last nut. I the used a deep socket and put the pipe back though the oilcooler and with the deep socket tighten everything back up to the block. This worked great and we took our trip about 1200 miles, stopping many times to check the oil and for any leaks. Thanks to all that replied with great help.
