I'm about to install a CB radio in my 2005 SCREW. I plan on mounting the antenas somewhere on the rails of flatbed - haven't figured out where or how just yet, but know I will )
Trying to see how I'm going to get the antena cable to the outside of the truck so was just wondering if there are access holes between the rear of the cab and the flat bed and if so, how do you get to them?
i would also look under the cab intself and look for any access ports there. usually you can find a couple just below the driver sick rocker panel to run wires through.
Haven't pulled any panels off the 06-yet. However, on my 01 there were two 3"x6" vents behind the back of the back seat. These vents had simple rubber flaps covering them, allowing air out but kept things out. They vented in between the cab and bed. If they exist on the current models they would be close to perfect- easy access and no drilling required.
Good luck. Let us know what you come up with.

Yeah, peaking between the cab and the bed I swear I could see SOMETHING between there. Just have to figure out how to get to them - outside of having to remove the rear seat, which I think I might<O</O
After installing my PIAA fog lights I definitely know where the firewall access point is (After looking on the right side for about an hour I finally decided to visit the left side and there it was!!)<O</O
Again haven't tried it on the 06 but the 01 seatbacks popped up. Grabbed with one hand on the bottom and the other on the top- some force was required but pretty easy once you got the technique down. Hopefully the 06 is the same.

I ran my coax thru those vents. Once I had my arm and hand between the cab and bed it took a little time to work the coax thru the vent. The trick is to hold the rubber flap up so you can feed the coax past it. Not easy, working with one hand that is also holding on to the coax, but it can be done. After it went thru I kept feeding it in. I had enough inside the cab that I was able to find it behind the seat and route it to where I wanted it.
