Were would I locate or buy a cowl hood for a 1988 ford f-150 pick-up.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Cowl hoods are not real popular in the bolton aftermarket. Reflexxions, good hood, maybe suncoast creations.

I think US Body is the only one that makes it for that body style, I got lucky and tripped across one of there hoods used for my 86. There hoods are big bucks though because there the only ones making them.

 

Yea they look really good (and really expensive). I'm eyeing one for my '89 F250. I think its the dominater hood....or something like that. I have to wait for the money to flow into the back pocket of my jeans before I can get it thought. Its like 750-800 bucks for one of those hoods, unless you get the lighter, racing one.

 

harwood (http://www.eharwood.com) has some cool stuff too... maybe not the whole hood but definitely the cowl you want 2, 4, or 6 inches. paint it and stick it on there.
