Head lights question???

Head lights question???

My cousin owns a 2001, F250, lariat, 7.3l powerstroke. He is looking for the same headlights that the 2005 model has. Will these fit his truck? If not, any idea where he will find the same looking lens?

I am not 100% on this, but I believe the headlight assembly itself fits all years from 99'-07' with the exception being for 2008 with the new style. I am sure someone else can confirm this.

they'll fit with some modifcation to the 99-04 header panel. you can buy the 05-07 header panel if you want, makes things nicer. but if you change the header panel, you'll need to change the grill, if you change the grill you need to change the bumper, so by the time you're done you've just done a 05-07 front end conversion. the part# for the 05-07 header panel is 5C3Z-8A284-AA. you will also have to change the wiring harnesses bcause the new housings use different bulbs. part # for the housing is WPT-793 or 3U2Z-14S411-FKAA (you'll need 2 of them).

My 01 with headlights from ebay. Fit well , no mods and light well.

from what i understand:
you can either do just the headlight and trip tha header pannel
new header pannel 06 grill from ebay that is already trimed for the 01 bumper ($300 for the 06 grill)
or do the full convertion (i plan to do it to my 99' sence mine is only and XL and i want to upgrade to chrome anyways)
