superduty interior

I really like my 04 psd but the interior kind of sucks. My buddy just came over in his duramax and mine looks like some getto stripped down rental car compared to his. Are there any dash kits or interior packages out there to spice ours up a bit. Anyone?

There are plenty of dash kits of all shapes and colors from wood grain to carbon fiber. Some kits are good and some a junk. Either way they are not cheap. Usually running from a minimum of $300 all the way up to $500.

I agree that the super duty interior is bland and featureless. I drove GM's for years and they all had better looking and better fitting interiors. I hope that is 07' super duty will have a better looking interior.

Thats OK though . Your buddy can only see your headliner when looking up from his truck . HA !!!!!!!!

. I traded a GM for my SuperDuty and the GM was a plastic rattle trap in the corners of the dash. Had it 4 times to dealer and they couldn't fix it.It might have looked better but the rattle would drive anyone insane.

All kidding aside . I have a 2004 Lariet . I like my interior . Power seat and heated . Wood grain inserts . Power moonroof (try to get that in another brand) you wont because thier frames are not strong enough . Leather is nice good quality with Lariet embrodered in them . Now the dash is weak I'll give ya that .

Look up Cabela's they have nice inserts starting at about 149.00. I personally like the way my lariat looks. But that is me

I like the changes made for the 05. They kept the lines clean and still managed to make them look more luxurious. The climate control rules and the trailer brake. It would be hard to improve much more. I had an 02 before this 05 and yes I agree the 04 and older seemed a little fisher price compared to other vehicles.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing ford, got this truck and my cobra and love them both, just was looking for something to spice it up a little. I don't have a lariat so maybe that is why.

I'm with you brother. I like a truck to feel like a truck. If I wanted all the whiz bang crap that is on the GM's, that's what I'd drive. I get into a Chevy / GM and feel like I'm driving a car.

i've always loved Fords and my roomate GM's. the gms interiors are more like cars and the Fords are like trucks, if you want a truck get a truck if you like the cars get the cars, i love the fords interior!

Wait for the 07, they are supposed to be redone. Personally i only like the new F-150 interior. Before that nothing since 1969. I still scratch my head about all those years of SQUARE gauges! Ugh....

Truck Interior

If you want a fancy Ford interior, buy a Lincoln truck. I think my 03 XLT interior is fine. I have a power seat, adjustable pedals, and a 6 CD changer--It suits me fine.

More doo-dads----more problems.
It's a truck---NOT A CAR !!!
