talk about a big house

$12,000.00 front door, I can't believe this. the house that I started 3 months ago is due for a solid cast iron door with leaded stained glass. these people are crazy about their new house $75,000.00 cabnets , air filter system, 114,000.00$ roof. this is the biggest house that I've ever had the chance to build [12,000sq ft] and it is all greek to me. I hope to post some pic if the home owners will agree

My son took me to see a house up the street from him that was almost finished. It is a nice house but what blew me away was the shower in the master bedroom. It is a two-story house and the shower (about 6 x 6) is two stores high with a big copper shower head at the very top.

Mako that is a huge house, wow I wonder what the bill will be like on that one!

Dono, makes a guy wonder how tall you would have to be to utilize a shower like that huh!

Gotta be a pain to fix that shower head when something does go wrong as well...

The owner will call a repairman I'm sure.

Whenever we had a new AC system installed in our house this past summer the installer was telling me about a home they did an install in down in Palm Beach, 3-3 ton units ... one for the equipment and 2 for the folks in the house's home theatre room!

Got that right.
One of the founders of People Soft is having a house built for just him and his wife.

It's going to be 72,000 square feet. That's bigger than the White House and bigger than Hurst Castle.

RangerPilot, if not, I wonder if he could afford to have one built.

I'm sure he cares about the environment, too.

And then we blame global warming on car exhaust. Apearently these eviro(mentals) overlooked the fact that heating oil also produces emissions. As I've become so found of saying. "They bring all their dollars but no damn sence."

They say they care....
I did a bathroom at one house that totalled over 65k. They had a 24k gold lav basin and a cast iron whirlpool tub for cripe sake....
NOW if they really cared about the environment the'd have nothing but recycled materials and wouldn't have a $700 crapper that looks just like my $75 one

Exactly my (sarcastic) point, birddog. And I'm no tree-hugger, but I believe in being good stewards of the resources we have.
