computer reset? and crappy millage
What the hell? Okay a 2002 F-350 super crew. Got a superchip programer cause I was getting crappy fuel millage when I bought the truck a year ago. When I say crappy I mean 12 mpg on the hwy. The tunner solved that problem and brought the milage up to 21mpg on the hwy, respectable. But every so often I seem to get a coumpter "reset". The overhead display (fuel meter reader and outside temp reader) resets to Imperial ( I am Canadian and keep it on metric). Here is the kicker, once that happens I go back to crappy millage. That is actually calculated millage I am talking about, not the "lie-o-meter". If I realod the tunner program then the millage is great until a month or so later it resets again. Thoughts?

Dunno. Guess you need to keep reinstalling the tune when it resets. The PCM will reset itself when certain conditions are met. Good for you your metrics tell you when it happens. Could be caused by the tuner itself.
