tranny?
ok guys 2004 f350, 40,000 miles and running preditor chip in 65 setting for most of the 40,000 miles truck is slipping from 3rd to overdrive anyone else have this problem and if so did ford cover it or am i going to get stuck eating this? My dad has a 2001 with 11000,000 with a chip pulls the same stuff i do at work and he has a chip and his truck is still problem free

Does it still do it with the chip in? If it does then you have some kind of tranny problem. As for warranty, the transmission is under the 3yr/36k so i would think your out of luck being you have 40k on your truck.
