does anyone know a manufacturer of a 10.25 spool . i'm finally gonna regear my truck and would like to put a selectable locker up front and to balance the high cost of that i would like to use a spool for the sterling visteon ford 10.25(what ever you prefer to call the axle)

ok so i've came back to reality i'll never save up for a selectable front but is welding the spiders the only cheap option for a 10.25 or has someone made a spool
I did a search and found a couple stories on line--no mention of a spool.
I'm no axle man, but I would think twice about a locked rear axle on a truck that size. You're running a lot of tire, too, aren't you? Clink and chirp turns to snap pretty easy.
i don't really drive this truck on road that much so it's not too much of a concern, if i didn't already have a set of 4.56 gears and an install kit for the sterling, i'd be looking at a d60 or d70 with a spool. ironic thing is my dad has a winnabego with a dana 70 4.56 track lok that he never drives.but he wont part with it eventhough it's barely roadworthy
