Some stupid hooker in a Hummer H2 slammed the ***** out of me last night. I was going through an intersection I had a green light for and I guess she was trying to make a left turn coming from the other direction into the plaza to my right. This was all about 3 hours after I put a $65 tank of gas, $130 of maintenance services, a new Panasonic double-din touchscreen, PS2, and iPod in my baby...
Turns out the little 20 year old girl (I'm 20, too, but I'm 6'5" so I can call her little) driving has never had a license in her life so she got locked up and according to her passenger, she was on probation, too. I guess the H2 was the girl's boyfriend's so his insurance will be taking care of me. I'm going to wait on the insurance money before I get my hopes up of getting anything else, but I've got my eye on a 2002 Eddie Bauer 4WD about 2 hours away from here. I'll keep everyone posted!

Wow! Sorry to hear about your loss! How bad was the H2 damaged? Do you have any pics of the H2? Glad to see you are okay though!
If there was a pic of the H2 it would be of me popping a squat on the hood and droppin a fat ole dump for the owner when he went to pick it up. The H2 probably needs new front end stuff (headlights, grille, etc.), a fender, a door, maybe some other stuff. Damn brushguards!

That's the last thing I would need...a totalled XP AND Syphillis. No, thanks.
Dude, that really sucks. Can you salvage any of the upgrades you put into it?
I sure hope so. Luckily, the tow yard is at the front of my neighborhood. So, if they don't let me get my stuff back, you better believe I'm flinging my fatass over that fence and getting my stuff back!

I took down those pics and added them to a slide show with some more pics from today when I went to the impound lot to get my stuff back. You must have flash installed to view the slideshow...
Thats reasuring to know the family is riding around in something that can take a hit. How fast were you going? good pics man good thing her old man had insurance.

Had my cruise set at 40MPH going through a heavily enforced 35MPH group of subdivisions. I didn't have time to hit the brakes so it was a pretty good whack.
Bad crash, good you didn't get hurt. Skip the first generation 02, step to the 03. It has more airbags.
I'd love to get a 2nd Gen but my parent said that I've gotta get my own insurance when this policy period is up so I'll have to juggle that payment in with my loan for the truck, my cell phone, and my budding alcoholism so I will be looking at 1st Gens again or even a 2002+ Explorer. I'd prefer to get the Explorer not only because it's newer but it has a true double-din dash opening so I won't have to hack the dash to hell to get my Panasonic Touchscreen to fit. When I was younger, my cousin made the same transition from a 99 Expedition to a 2003 Exploder with the 4.6 V8 and always told me that I wouldn't feel too much of a difference...I guess we'll see about that
