Talking She's finally here, come have a look inside......

I finally got my Explorer and I just have to show her off. It's just like having a new family member. It's nice to be back to all Ford again.

The only surprise at the border was a $1000 environmental levy. If the vehicle is built before March of 2007 this doesn't apply. Depending on the vehicle it varies how much you pay. Other than that it was pretty much flawless. We take her for inspection and safety on Thursday. Gettin real excited now.

Awesome, sweet looking ride.
The a $1000 environmental levy is a rip off but I guess the savings are still there.
I`m glad that it`s pretty much flawless and looks great, no wonder you`re gettin real excited now.

Have you ever figured out now that you have it back, how much you will have saved from buying it down south?

We'll see after the safety but as it stands right now I have saved about $10500. If not for that environmental levy it would've been more. Still pretty good in my books.

I was hopin to find a 53-56 ford 1/2 ton somewhere and start doing a rebuild. They are hard to come by but one can always hope and search old farm yards.
